In Ellisburg, Kentucky a small local church resides. Normally, nothing out of the ordinary happens at this site aside from the routine morning services. However, a man showed up to morning services on a horse one day. After getting off the horse, he then proceeded to walk into the church with a holstered gun.
After some of the church members saw this, a few of the men were able to take him outside and talk him into handing over the gun and a rifle that was with the horse. The local and state police were called to the scene. The man has been charged with public intoxication.

As of today, there is a new tallest dog in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records. The winner is a 250-pound Great Dane from Tucson, Arizona. The giant dog, named George, stands 3 feet, 7 inches tall. George is officially three-quarters of an inch taller than the next tallest dog, Titan. I’m sure George is a good dog, but if I had small children I don’t think he would be a good fit for my house.

In Lewiston, Idaho, a happy couple completed the ceremonies of their wedding and were ready to start their new lives together. However, that same night the 21-year-old groom was arrested twice, which included assault on his wife.
When the smoke cleared, the groom was charged with second degree assault as well as interfering with a report of domestic abuse. After he was initially arrested for drunken and disorderly conduct, he came home and assaulted his wife, choking and slapping her in the face. I would imagine this woman will now file for divorce.

A Las Vegas police officer can rest easy today after exchanging in a gun fight on Saturday with an unknown assailant. Upon investigation of gun shots at an apartment, the officer followed up and came across a man with a gun.
The officer opened fire and the other man returned fire back on him. One bullet made contact with the officer, but it hit his shield. Since the bullet hit the shield, he only suffered minor injuries. Had the shield not been there, the officer could have been dead.

A stiletto heel is commonly looked at as a very fashionable compliment to a woman’s dress. However, for a 33-year-old woman in England, it is a weapon. Apparently, this woman stabbed a man in his eye with her stiletto heel while they were sharing a cab together.
The reason for the assault is unknown at this point but the police have charged the woman. The man who was stabbed is in stable condition. I’m glad my girlfriend doesn’t have stiletto heels.

On the Long Island Expressway, a woman has been fined after using a mannequin to act as a “plus one” in the high occupancy vehicle lane. The cop became suspicious when he saw that the passenger was wearing sunglasses and had the visor down, yet the weather was overcast.
When the cop pulled over, he realized the passenger was a mannequin, fully clothed and topped with a wig. It is truly amazing the length at which people will go to avoid traffic in New York.

A Florida Highway Patrol trooper has been arrested on charges of misconduct after writing hundreds of fake tickets out to motorists. In order to increase his citations, he figured he would simply make reasons up.
Over 200 tickets written by the officer in the past few months have already been dismissed and there are many more expected to come on the way. When countless people began to complain to the authorities that they had no clue why they received a ticket, the operation was figured out. Now let’s see how he likes being handled by the law.
