Mom-confesses-to-stealing

A mom and daughter from Bedford, Pennsylvania were in court for stealing a gift card from a 9-year-old girl. In exchange for no jail time, the two stealers struck on agreement with the judge about the matter.

The agreement was that if the mom and daughter were to stand outside of the courthouse in Bedford holding a sign that said: “I stole from a 9-year-old girl on her birthday! Don’t steal or this could happen to you!”, then they would not receive any jail time.
