In Jensen Beach, Florida, a man has been charged with domestic battery. Now, the fact that he has been charged with domestic battery is not funny, but the premise behind it is hilarious. The man is being charged because he allegedly soaked his wife with a garden hose for smoking in the house. The police said the couple began to argue after she took out a cigarette and began to smoke in the house, something the 51 year-old husband apparently did not appreciate. The woman then picked up the phone to call a friend, but her husband thought she was calling the cops.

He elbowed her in the mouth as he tried to grab the phone from her. When the deputies arrived, the woman was completely soaked in water. The husband claimed that he was watering the grass and did not intend to spray her. Pretty lame excuse, don’t you think? How could he have mistakenly sprayed water from the hose all over her inside the house? Also, is there now grass inside households? This guy deserves to be put behind bars for violence and sheer stupidity.
