Geezer-Bandit

Five banks in the San Diego area have been robbed since the summer and the FBI is attributing these robberies to an elderly man nicknamed the “Geezer Bandit.”

The man is believed to be in his 70s and he was most recently in the news last Monday as he held up a Bank of America in La Jolla. He did this by holding a handgun to the teller, asking for money, then simply leaving on foot.

First of all, I do not understand how an old man can be successful robbing banks on foot, let alone robbing a bank at all on multiple occasions. Secondly, I cannot blame him due to his decreasing social security checks.
